Alumni and students requesting duplicate diplomas or certificates, need to send an email to graduation@ucf.edu requesting the appropriate forms and ordering process. Digital copies of the credential may be available through the student’s/alumni’s Parchment.com account, at no charge, if they have graduated since Spring 2022. Students who graduated prior to Spring 2022 will need to request a digital diploma through the duplicate diploma/certificate form and pay the $10 fee. Digital diplomas cannot be notarized or apostilled.

Associate of Arts Degrees/Certificates

Students will receive digital copies of their Associate of Arts diploma, undergraduate certificate, and/or graduate certificate at the time the credential is awarded. These will be provided in a link through Parchment.com. If a physical copy is needed, the duplicate credential process needs to be followed, including the required payment of $10 per copy.

Ordering Process

To order your duplicate diploma or certificate, email graduation@ucf.edu for the necessary form and then return the necessary documents and payment to the Registrar’s Office in person or by mail:

Before mailing your request, make sure to do the following:

Delivery Options

Generally, completed orders are mailed to the address you provide on the request form. You may also pick it up from the Registrar’s Office in person or designate a third party to pick it up for you. You or your designated third party will need to bring a photo ID.

Note: If you are also ordering an official transcript around the same time as the duplicate credential, please indicate on your Duplicate Diploma/Certificate request form whether you would like it to be mailed together with your transcript.

Notification

When your order is ready to pick up, or has been mailed, you will be notified via the email address you provided on your request form. If your order was mailed, the tracking number will be provided to you.

Notary Stamp

UCF can notarize the credentials upon request as noted on the form by the recipient. There is no additional cost to notarize the credentials, but it must be done at the time of issue. UCF cannot notarize a document that was previously mailed to the recipient. The notary stamp is only applied to original documents requested through the duplicate credential process. If you select apostille notarization, a standard notary stamp will also be applied to the document as part of the notarization process.

Apostille Process

An apostille is a government certification that proves the authenticity of a document. A diploma or transcript with an apostille is often needed when applying for a visa, employment, or graduate school in another country. Some countries may also require the apostille to validate the diploma. The apostille process is conducted through the State of Florida Department of State with a notarized copy of the diploma sent to the Florida Department of State by the recipient.

UCF does not provide the apostille stamp nor does the university send the documents to the state. For specific information about the apostille process, click here.
