Late Registration and Add/Drop
Each session has specific registration and fee payment guidelines, appointment times, procedures and deadlines. Prior to registering, refer to the appropriate sections of this Web Enrollment Guide website for details and instructions. Students must have all contracts completed and signed by the authorized departmental personnel. To register for restricted courses, contact the appropriate college advising office, which provide Permission numbers.
For detailed instructions to registration, click on “E-Z Guides" and select "Registering”. Registration and Add/Drop Students may adjust their schedules (i.e., add or drop classes) throughout Registration and Add/Drop. Students who register for the first time during Late Registration and Add/Drop will be assessed a Late Registration Fee of $100. A Late Payment Fee of $100 also will be assessed on accounts not paid or deferred by the payment deadline. All registration activity must be completed by 5:00 p.m. on the last day of Late Registration and Add/Drop. Students may drop courses meeting for the first time after the end of Late Registration and Add/Drop during the next business day in the Registrar’s Office (MH 161).
Students unable to enroll in any open section during Registration and Add/Drop may register for the UCF temporary course UCF 1500 before the end of Registration and Add/Drop. This will avoid the $100 Late Registration Fee. Students must pay for this temporary class to avoid the $100 Late Payment Fee. Students should drop this temporary course before the end of Late Registration and Add/Drop.
